From initial concept through procurement and final installation, our team manages the many moving parts of the project so the experience remains structured, organized, and seamless.
We intentionally limit the number of active projects to ensure each receives focused attention and oversight.
What does full-service interior design mean?
Full-service interior design is a comprehensive, turnkey experience. Our team oversees every phase of the project, from concept development and design documentation to procurement, contractor coordination, installation, and final styling.
We act as your design lead and project advocate, managing the many moving parts required to execute a cohesive and refined result.
How Long Does the Process Take?
Project timelines vary based on scope and complexity.
Furnishings projects typically require approximately 6 months from design through installation, depending on scope and product lead times. Projects involving renovations may require additional time based on construction schedules and overall complexity.
A detailed timeline is established once the full scope of work is defined.
How much will I be involved in the design process?
We begin each project with a thoughtful discovery phase to understand your aesthetic preferences and lifestyle priorities.
From there, our team leads the creative direction and execution, keeping you informed and involved at key decision points while managing the day-to-day coordination.
What is a reasonable investment for full-service design?
Investment varies based on scope, square footage, and level of customization.
Many of our clients invest between $250,000 and $600,000+ for comprehensive, full-service interior design, with larger home transformations exceeding that range depending on selections and scope.
For more focused furnishing engagements, investment is determined by the spaces involved, with primary rooms often beginning around $35,000+.
In the Washington, DC metro area, kitchen renovations often range from $400–$700+ per square foot, while primary bathroom renovations may range from $300–$550+ per square foot, depending on material selections and construction requirements.
Design fees are determined based on scope and complexity and typically represent approximately 20–22% of overall project investment.

Will you work with my existing pieces?
We require that you plan for at least two entire rooms to be designed and completed by us from start to finish. We will work with existing pieces, particularly if they are meaningful to you. However, because our goal is to provide you with a fully cohesive space, we may need to discuss whether your existing piece(s) will truly work well in your new space.
We take on a select number of full-home and multi-room projects each year. Our discovery call allows us to thoughtfully review your vision and determine how we can best guide your home from concept through completion.
