Project Coordinator
About the Position:
We are seeking a part-time, self-starting Project Coordinator who can work independently while also being a team player. This position aims to keep our growing interior design business running smoothly by managing day-to-day aspects of projects and general business operations. This ideal candidate thrives in a creative environment, is proactive, brings a positive attitude, is thorough, has a strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and doesn’t hesitate to go above and beyond. We are seeking someone who is energetic, and hard-working, with great common sense.
Minimum Qualifications:

Solid understanding of MS Office, Adobe CC, and project management software (ClickUp or Asana)

Ability to pick up new software easily

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Responsible, flexible, accurate, and detail-oriented

Friendly & engaging personality

College degree required
-
Strong research, writing, organizational, and grammar skills

Problem-solving skills

Shows initiative

Strong comfortability with working in a digital environment

Has experience working within the Interior Design industry a plus

Must have a car and valid driver’s license

Must be able to do light lifting
Job Functions:
Includes, but not limited to:
-
Onboarding new clients, including dialogue with potential clients
-
Schedule presentations and client meetings
-
Send status updates weekly to clients on each project
-
Ongoing client communication
-
Create & maintain client/project folders to ensure project organization
-
Develop proposals and create tearsheets
-
Vendor follow up and tracking of orders
-
Ongoing vendor communication
-
Ongoing communication with contractors and trades
-
Coordinate installation details of multiple projects
-
Coordinate project installs
-
Maintain project tracker and other items in project management software
-
Create & update trade schedules for each project
-
Update client portal as new information is available
-
Maintain & organize design studio, including files and sample library
-
Assistant Principal Designer in scheduling, task management, time management, and organization.

Administrative tasks to support client projects and the overall business

Other duties as assigned to keep the business running smoothly

Position is an in-office position

Position includes some light physical work

Reliable transportation is required, as position includes some local travel
In this position, you will work directly alongside the Principal Designer.
Commitment:
We’re looking for 20-24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work. The role is part-time with potential to grow into a full-time position. This is an in-office position.
Compensation:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
