Hey there!! Happy Tuesday! Here’s a tour of the much-anticipated Parisian style elegant beauty room that I just completed. I’m playfully calling it “April in Paris”. The homeowner wanted an elegant and beautiful place where she could escape to sit and relax, cuddle up with a book and a glass of wine or when she’s not doing that a place where she could get jazzed up for a night out on the town. This elegant beauty room is Parisian inspired, as the client visited Paris, fell in love with it and wanted to incorporate that design style into her space. Parisian Style Elegant Beauty Room - Design Insight:
Parisian design style is typically very chic and they make use of neutral or soft color palettes, antiques, blush tones, gilded accent pieces, and King Louis style furniture. I used a soft blush tone on the walls to serve as the backdrop for the space. The color used was Sherwin Williams Intimate White, SW 6322. This color was perfect for setting the feminine and elegant tone in this Parisian style elegant beauty room.

This room wouldn’t reflect the Parisian style we were going for without this King Louis style vanity chair. This chair pairs well with the antique vanity table and they both lend themselves well to the overall elegant decor.

Notice the touches of gold gilding throughout the room. The gilding is incorporated in the room in the frames within the gallery wall, the side table, the vanity tray, the frame of the beveled mirror and even in the pulls on the vanity drawers. It seems like a lot, but as you can see the gold gilding still has a subtle feel in this elegant space.
