Cocktail of the Month:

Grapefruit Rose Paloma

Longer days, golden evenings, and the start of summer set the scene for something bright and unexpected. Our Grapefruit Rose Paloma is a refreshing twist on a warm-weather favorite—light, floral, and just the right amount of tart. With a sugar and rose petal rim and a delicate garnish of dried petals, this cocktail feels like a celebration of June in bloom. Bursting with fresh grapefruit and a whisper of rose, it’s the perfect companion for patio lounging, weekend brunches, or simply soaking in the sun. Summer never tasted so lovely.

Ingredients:

How to Make:

Makes 1 Cocktail
2 oz. Tequila
2 oz. Grapefruit Syrup
1 oz. Grapefruit Soda Water

Garnish: Grapefruit Wedge, Sugar, and Dried Rose Petals (for glass rim).

Grapefruit Syrup

1 cup Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice
1/4 - 1/2 cup Sugar (based on desired sweetness)
2 tsp. Rose Water

Grapefruit Syrup

To make the Grapefruit Rose Paloma, begin by preparing the grapefruit syrup. In a small saucepan, combine fresh grapefruit juice, sugar (adjust to your preferred sweetness), and rose water. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is fully dissolved. Once combined, remove from heat and let the syrup cool completely before using.

Sugar Rim

Next, prepare the glass. Finely crumble dried rose petals and mix them with sugar on a small plate. Lightly run a grapefruit wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip the rim into the rose sugar mixture to coat it evenly. Set the glass aside.

Cocktail

For the cocktail, add tequila and the cooled grapefruit syrup to a shaker and shake well to chill. Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice, then pour the shaken mixture over the ice. Top with grapefruit soda water and garnish with a wedge of grapefruit.

Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing, floral sip of summer.
