Fig & Thyme Gin Sour

What better way to savor the cozy shift into Fall than with a cocktail that’s as rich in flavor as it is in charm? Our featured cocktail of the month is the Fig & Thyme Gin Sour – a beautifully balanced drink that blends fig preserves, fresh thyme, and lemon juice with the botanical notes of gin and the silkiness of egg white. A touch of sweetness rounds it all out, creating a sophisticated sip that’s perfect for intimate gatherings or a quiet evening wind-down. It’s a seasonal favorite that’s as inviting as the crisp air and golden light of autumn.

How to Make:

Makes 1 Cocktail
2 oz. Hendrick's Gin
1/2 oz. Fig Preserves
3/4 oz. Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
1/2 oz. Simple Syrup or Honey Syrup
1 Egg Yolk
Ice

Garnish:
Fig Slice, Thyme, or Cinnamon Stick
In a cocktail shaker, add fig preserves, followed by the gin, freshly squeezed lemon juice, simple (or honey syrup), and the egg yolk. Dry shake vigorously without ice to emulsify the yolk and create a rich, silky texture. Add ice and shake again until well chilled and beautifully frothy. Double strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass, allowing the smooth, velvety layers to settle.

Garnish with a fig slice, a sprig of thyme, or a cinnamon stick for an aromatic, autumn-inspired finish.
