Spiced Apple Bourbon Smash

This is the season of crisp evenings and turning leaves—the moment when the air carries both warmth and coolness, and everything feels touched by change. Our Spiced Apple Bourbon Smash captures that balance, weaving together bourbon’s depth, apple’s freshness, and the subtle sweetness of maple. Finished with thyme, cinnamon, and a hint of citrus, it’s a glass full of autumn’s spirit—smooth, comforting, and meant to be lingered over as the days grow shorter.

How to Make:

Makes 1 Cocktail
2 oz. Bourbon
1 oz. Fresh Apple Cider
1 oz. Maple Syrup
1 oz. Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
1 oz. Angostura Bitters
4-5 Fresh Thyme
Ice

Garnish: Apple Slices, Cinnamon Stick, Sprinkle of Ground Cinnamon, Sprig of Thyme
Add a fresh sprig of thyme to the bottom of a cocktail shaker and gently muddle to release its oils. Next, pour in the bourbon, fresh apple cider, maple syrup, lemon juice, and a couple dashes of Angostura bitters. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until the mixture is well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.

Garnish with apple slices, a cinnamon stick, and a sprig of thyme, then finish with a light sprinkle of ground cinnamon across the top. Serve immediately and enjoy the cozy flavors of autumn in a glass.
